Dr. S. Ragahdo Yosodiningrat, S.H., LL.M., known as Aga Yosodiningrat has an exceptional academic journey, he earned his Bachelor of Law from Universitas Pelita Harapan in 2017, his Master of Laws (LL.M.) from Erasmus University of Rotterdam in 2018 and his Doctorate (Dr.) in 2021 at the age of 25. His Master’s Thesis analyzed the legal framework for cross-border mergers between the EU and Indonesia, showcasing his expertise in International Business Law.
Prior to his current role, Aga sharpened his skills at top-tier law firms, including Hadiputranto Hadinoto and Partners (HHP Law Firm) a member firm of Baker & McKenzie International. As a qualified Advocate, he possesses extensive experience in both corporate and litigation matters. In the corporate arena, he handles mergers and acquisitions, foreign investment, and TMT issues.
In litigation, he is known for representing clients in high-profile and sensitive cases, such as the Gun Firing of Laskar FPI at KM 50 and the so-called “Trial of the Century,” where he was the youngest lawyer on the defense team in the obstruction of justice case involving Brig. J’s murder. He also once handled a high-profile case involving a national television host, Aiman Witjaksono, which was eventually dismissed by the investigators.
In addition, he also played a significant role as part of the legal team and delivered the petition in the 2024 Presidential Election Dispute Hearing at the Constitutional Court of Indonesia. A nationally prominent case that drew extensive public attention making him one of the youngest person to do so at the time.
Mentored by a very prominent lawyer in Indonesia, Prof. Dr. Henry Yosodiningrat, SH, MH. an eminent lawyer who has gained immense respect and recognition in Indonesia. He started his professional journey in the legal field soon after completing his bachelor’s degree in law from the Faculty of Law, Universitas Islam Indonesia (“UII”), in 1978. Throughout his illustrious career spanning more than 40 years in legal practice, Prof. Henry Yosodiningrat has successfully represented a diverse portfolio of clients, including major government agencies, prominent local and international organizations, and reputable individual clients.
With his extensive legal expertise and experience, Prof. Henry Yosodiningrat has provided comprehensive legal services across the full spectrum of legal matters. Prof. Henry Yosodiningrat was not only a prominent legal professional but also an active member of various organizations. He served as a Member of the ASEAN Legal Experts Association (1987–2000) and then became a Member of the Capital Market Legal Consultation (1990–1995). Later, Prof. Henry Yosodiningrat held the position of a Member of the Advisory Council of the Indonesian Advocates Association (IKADIN) from 1995–2000.
In 2003, Prof. Henry Yosodiningrat continued his career as a Member of the Honour Council of the Indonesian Advocates Association (“PERADI”) and held his position until 2007.
His career and reputation as a prominent lawyer and Indonesian legal expert earned him a place in the Indonesian Parliament, where he served as a member of the PDI Perjuangan Fraction from the Lampung II Electoral District during the 2014–2019 period.
